Astral Projection Stories Are Overwhelmingly Positive

Stories of Astral Projection have circulated among us since ancient times. Avid practitioners will you it may even be possible to travel to other times and places to experience those far off lands. However, it's important to note that no two people have the same experience. While there are commonalities through some of the astral projection stories, most are quite unique to the individual. Having said that, there are four or five more or less common things that happen during the begging or learning stages of astral travel. Most people report this in more or less the same way.

Out Of Body Experience - We have all heard the accident victim or surgery candidate speak about an out of body experience. Some people under traumatic circumstances will find themselves looking down at themselves or watching others perform some kind of activity, i.e. surgery, while they look on from a different vantage point. It's seems most people usually speak of being above their original physical body looking down.

Time Travel - A lot of avid astral travelers report traveling through time, perhaps revisiting an previous experience from a different point of view or visiting an entirely new experience at a different point in time, either in the future, or in the past. Either way, it's a relatively common experience amongst those who astral travel.

Laws of Physics Don't Apply - Most people that report experiences, either directed or by accident, find themselves floating aloft. The also tend to find themselves invisible. So for example, an astral traveller might be able to pass through solid objects or have solid objects pass through them. Likewise, they find themselves unconstrained by the standard laws of physics and are able to move around and through things at will. However, it's also interesting to note that persons are unable to affect anything. For example, one couldn't open a door or pickup a pen or talk to someone, it just isn't possible.

On Friday January 28th my husband and I went to a local Mexican Food place and had dinner together. We hadn’t eaten out alone in a few months so it was a special treat. I had dropped the children off at my parents’ house earlier that afternoon as they agreed to watch them overnight. They would be returning home some time after 7:00pm on Saturday. The delicious Chicken Tostada Salad I ordered would be my last meal until Sunday morning. My husband and I were dedicating ourselves to a Spiritual Fasting in an effort to connect with Universal Source on a deeper level. On Saturday we would be meditating, receiving Reiki, holding Ritual and using Divination (I was going to be doing Tarot Readings later that evening).

I hadn’t done a Spiritual Fasting since I was a teenager. Then I was a practicing Roman Catholic and was obligated to do Fastings during Lent and other times of the year. This time however, it wasn’t an obligation. It was a choice. A choice that I was making with intent to advance my journey along my personal spiritual path and to strengthen my personal relationship with God and Goddess. We had decided that we would allow ourselves to consume only water during the Fast. The first twelve hours were easy. My husband and I were busy with sleeping, our normal morning routine and meditation. During the mediation I received a few phrases one of which was “The Gathering” and “Come join us.” I also had a vivid experience in Astral Projection where I had visited the shop I Read at watching what I believed was the owner doing Reiki. Although it made no logical sense because I knew she wouldn’t be doing Reiki sessions that day as she would be busy coordinating the events and Readings that were taking place that day.

Meditation for Astral Projection

Hey guys,

Sorry I know I've been quiet these couple months, but I'm back with renewed zeal to pick up where I left off! So I've been working on reaching an ideal meditative state for astral travel.

One of the biggest obstacles most astral projection beginners face is the inability to LET GO of negative thoughts before you astral travel. "This isn't working" or "Astral projection doesn't work" or "You must be crazy to even try this" are common thoughts. They are just boulders on your path to astral travel. I've found that the easiest way is by a simple visualization practice.

Here's what I do.

I imagine myself sorting through the thoughts in my head to positive thoughts and negative thoughts. As the negative thoughts get rolled into a black ball, it shrinks and condenses into a tiny black dot that then floats away. The positive thoughts spread out to form a sheet of light that envelopes my physical body. As I breathe and relax, my mind, body, and spirit becomes lighter and lighter and eventually translucent enough to astral travel.

This could take between 5 to 15 minutes every time, but it definitely works for me. Sometimes I mix it up a little bit to keep things interesting, but I like to keep it simple.

Astral Projection Technique: Hammock Technique

Another effective astral projection technique is the "Hammock Technique". This is especially useful if you like hammocks and visualization.

The Hammock Technique

The Hammock Technique : Visualize yourself lying in a bright white hammock, stationed between two palm trees on a secluded beach. Imagine the feeling of swaying in the wind, and recreate that feeling now as you visualize yourself swaying from side to side in the hammock. Repeat this visualization for as long as it takes to bring forth the vibrations, and when you feel the vibrations, just "roll-out" of your body.

Although we may astral travel while we are asleep, it should not be mistaken for dreaming. Dreaming is quite different, since it happens entirely within your brain as it goes over what has happened that day, placing things into context and allowing you to get past them and awake rested the next day. Your dreams may or may not be remembered after you awake, which is an important difference between astral travel and dreaming.

How to do Astral Travel

Astral travel is an experience that can change peoples' lives for the better. Those who have experienced it report a newfound appreciation for life.

Here is one person's interpretation of the experience.

Astral travel has been practised throughout history - and there have been thousands of documented scientific experiements confirming that astral travel is real.

People seek therapy because they 'wake up paralyzed and rigid' (sleep paralysis, a close component of astral travel) 'Wake up and see strange beings around them' (entities found in the astral plane) 'Find themselves floating or vibrating violently, or engulfed in a bright light' (sensations felt as the astral body leaves the physical body) Some people have even gone so far as to say their astral experiences are alien encounters.

And, there are those who resent astral travel and/or refuse to beleive it is possible at all. Perhaps for one or more of the following reasons:

1. They beleive that astral experiences are actually dreams. (Wrong. Astral travel is a fully conscious experience, as thousands of people have confirmed worldwide.)

2. They beleive that those who claim to astral travel are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. (Wrong again. Drugs or Alcohol actually hinder astral travel. Furthermore, most people who astral travel began astral travelling at a very young age - 6 to 12.)

3. They beleive what people describe as an astral experience is actually an alien abduction. (Thrice wrong. Although, waking paralyzed, seeing strange entities, and being engulfed in a blinding white light may be likened to an alien abduction, such symptoms are components of the first stages of astral travel.)

4. They beleive people claim to be able to astral travel for publicity, money, or attention in general. (Indeed, some people may use astral travel for such a purpose, or claim that they are able to astral travel when in actuality they cannot. However, astral travel is an enlightening spiritual experience, and he or she who has astral travelled normally understands the importance of keeping such a controvertial hobby quiet. Furthermore, it is commonly known that if one astral travels for selfish or evil purposes, they are likely to find themselves attracting unpleasant entities.)

Astral Projection is easy. It doesn't have to be hard. Here's how:

In this article I'd like to take a brief look at the cost of having an out of body experience - both in terms of TIME, energy AND income! The simple truth is that you can have an intense astral projection for FREE...there is NO cost at all associated with learning how to project on your own. That doesn't mean, of course, that there are not aides and accouterments which can TURBO charge your efforts, because quite frankly...there are! How much does it cost to astrally project?

Astral projection is a unique out of body experience that allows you to place your consciousness into other realities. It allows you to travel to the past, remain in the present or even visit the probable future. Below are the top 5 tips for both attempting to have an experience and what to do while you are in the state.

Remain determined

The first and most important step in having a successful experience is to remain determined. The intention to to achieve astral projection is extremely important, and if you are persistent you will be successful in doing so.

Overcoming fear

It's important to remember that it is completely safe and there is absolutely no danger of not returning to your body. All experiences do end at some point, regardless of the longevity of it. Think of it as a unique experience and try to prolong it as much as possible. If you do feel that the projection is much longer than it usually is, remain calm.

Remove jewelery

It is of utmost importance to remove any jewelry and/or protruding objects if you intend on having an astral projection. Your body may move erratically during the experience and can result in injury.
