The Best Time to Experience Astral Projection 0

The Best Environment to Astral Project

Home Zen Spa products

Have you ever wanted when the best time is to do astral projection? People have so many techniques, including trying to make yourself extremely tired in order to have an out of body experience like this astral projection technique that the author swears by.

For those of you who aren’t swayed by the thought of being extremely tired (cos lets face it, you just want to hop into bed and sleep), here’s a cool article that highlights the best times and the ideal environment to have your next out of body experience. The article highlights topics from the lighting to the position that you should be laying down in.

Ideal Conditions to Experiment

A suitable time and place for experimenting is important, as the methods you will be using are based on the ability to relax and visualize effectively. You should carefully consider the following if you are to achieve any results…

No Distractions

The room you choose to practice astral projection should be quiet and free from any distractions, ie, people suddenly walking into the room or dogs barking outside. It should have a bed or a comfortable armchair – a bed would be better.

Subdued Lighting

The room should be cool and dimly lit; too much light is distracting and total darkness can be too intense, especially for beginners, so light nights or early mornings would be the best times to practice.

Astral Projection Technique 0

A Favorite Astral Projection Technique

Woman sleeping

While I was searching for some techniques to improve my astral projection recently, I came across this intriguing technique based on the Writer’s conclusions of what astral projection should be — complete relaxation. In some ways I agree as astral projecting should be fun, exciting, and enjoyable. After all, it’s an adventure!

There is a condition that the body enters when a person gets too much sleep. People complain right and left when they get too much sleep that they “just couldn’t get up because they slept too much.” Or that they made a mistake because they slept in too long and now they are more tired than when they started. Ok, it’s this very feeling you want! The next weekend that you can sleep in, turn off your phone, get rid of all distractions like beepers, cell phones and pets and just plan on sleeping in! Here’s how it works. All of our bodies have a natural alarm clock. When it goes off on the weekend, get up to take care of any issues (like if you are slightly hungry, have to go to the bathroom or need to take aspirin because your neck is tweaked). Then, go back to bed asap! Also, only get up to take care of needs if you have to! The less alert you are, the better. It will probably take you an hour to fall back asleep because your body is not expecting this cycle. Don’t worry at this point about clearing your mind, or anything like that, just let your thoughts run wild and enter into sleep. Pretty soon when you try and wake up the second time (or the third) you will find yourself totally SLUGGISH! You’ll be slipping into a delirium and your muscles have gone to mush. NOW is the time to deepen that state. You would think that that would mean thinking about “how to get deeper” but this is not true. To go deeper means to think of nothing (totally quiet the mind) and slow your breathing even more. Sink into your sleep, let yourself remain mushy and then, ever so gently, focus on your third eye. Just last weekend I was doing this and I went catatonic and started having lucid dreams (of which you can also project from). When I won the daily it was because I didn’t have to get up (it was snowing and I couldn’t get out of my driveway) so I took that opportunity to over-sleep and I had 5 projections that day! Of course, if you have children, pets, noisy neighbors, busy plans for that day, it’s not going to be conducive for you, but still, it’s a good technique and some people have control over their weekend schedules.

Flying on the Astral Planes 0

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… no… it’s you flying on the Astral Plane!

aeroplane

Once you breakthrough and master the basic astral projection techniques, you can then have a fun astral voyage to other planes. An astral plane is a higher level of awareness in the astral world that interpenetrates and reflects our physical plane, but operates on a higher frequency.

How to Enter the Astral Plane

When you’ve gotten used the experience of to astral projection, and have validated your experiences, you’re probably ready to try traveling to the other planes.

You may or may not have encountered a veil, window, or door that does not exist in the physical world, but is very often there when you project. If you have, this may be a visual representation your consciousness has created to assist you. If not, don’t worry, you don’t really need this type of assistance.

What you need to do is raise your vibrations. The astral plane has a lighter and faster vibratory rate than the material plane. When projected into the physical world, with practice, you can sense something beyond the space where your body resides.

Need a Meditation Aid?

Listen to Astral Projection Music!

mp3 player

Have you ever been in the situation where you have trouble getting into the right state of mind for astral projection? I have. For me, it was a bit hard especially when I was starting to learn and practice astral projection to get into the right state. So, I decided to do some research about how to instantly get into the best state of mind to quickly blast off into my next astral voyage. It worked well for me, so I’d like to share this little tip with you.

If you need to get into the groove to help you in meditating for your next out of body experience, then grab a MP3 or CD Player and listen to binaural beats. The frequencies of these beats help to alter your brainwaves so your brain prepares to get into the perfect state of consciousness for both lucid dreaming and out of body experiences.

Check out this cool article explaining what binaural beats are, and how they work:

Binaural Beats — What are They?

There are many different combinations of Binaural Beats on the market now days.  Straight forward Beats which when you are listening to them sound like a lightly fluctuating tone, it has been likened to a Wah, Wah, Wah noise.

Then you have the Binaural Beats which have been overlayed with other sounds such a nature sounds, or soft meditation music.  You can also get Binaural Beats, overlayed with a sound, as previously mentioned, but with hypnotic scripts to deal with specific problem areas the listener may have, i.e. confidence.  Thereby combining the two techniques.   This, I believe, is the perfect combination for specific problem areas as the beats help get you to the desired state for hypnosis, which can sometimes be a task in itself.

As some people like to work with subliminal messages, this market has also been catered for, by overlaying the beats with sounds and also subliminal messages embedded.

Each of these is a personal preference, if you do not achieve the desired state with one Binaural Beat, try another.  It is the same a most things in life, everyone is different and what works for one does not necessarily work for another.  You need to find the right mix for you.

The Dangers of Astral Projection 0

Have you ever wondered what the dangers are of Astral Projection?

black and white cross

There’s been a lot of discussion over the benefits of astral projection but we’ve never really discussed the possible dangers. I found this article that discusses some of the dangers associated with out-of-body experiences which covers some interesting issues such as demon sex and dying while astral projecting.

The Dangers of Astral Projection

December 15th, 2006 by Erin Pavlina

Some people have written to me wanting to know about the dangers of astral projection.  Since I have only covered the benefits of learning astral projection I thought it would be fair to discuss some of the risks.

Q.  Can you physically die while astral projecting?

A.  While you are out of your body, your body is as susceptible to death as it normally would be.  Someone could come in to your room and stab or choke you to death or even shoot you.  In fact, if your consciousness was outside your body you may not even hear them come in.  What you are probably wondering, however, is if some entity on the astral plane can attack and kill your astral body, thus causing the death of your physical body, right?

If this has happened to anyone, we would not know since they would not be alive to tell us.  I personally believe it is possible, but highly unlikely that you will die while astral.  I believe there are beings out there powerful enough and strong enough to sever your silver cord while you’re astral, but I think the actual chance of this happening is really small.  Your silver cord is the tether that keeps your astral and physical bodies attached while you’re incarnated.

Now, if someone kills your physical body while you’re astral, you’ll just move on like you normally would if you were inside your body when it died.”

Astral Projection Experience 0

Here’s an Interesting Testimony of an Infant Astral Projection Experience:

Twin babies touching heads

This is an interesting testimony of an out of body experience by Lori Ann Alvarez.  What’s interesting about this experience is that it occurred when she was still an infant.

My Infant Astral Projection Experience by Lori Ann Alvarez

No matter what I forget in life, I will never forget my very first memory. I was of the age to be sleeping in a crib but still old enough to be able to climb out of it from time to time. My twin sister and I shared the crib together. Our mother told us we used to have to sleep with the top of our heads touching each other’s no matter how many times she would try to rearrange us.

My first memory began like this… I was hovering in my bedroom looking down from just under the ceiling as though I were near the surface of the ocean swimming around with the intent of exploration. I can remember the way the morning sun shined through the horizontal shutters of my bedroom window and the way our blue carpet looked underneath the furniture and scattered toys. As I was floating closer to my crib, I remember thinking “Who am I?” but not in words, rather in thought, because I didn’t know how to speak quite yet. As floating closer to the crib I then awoke abruptly. I recall climbing out of my crib and running out my bedroom terrified. I wasn’t sure where exactly I was going, but I knew I was searching for comfort. That’s when I crawled into my mother’s bed not even recognizing who she was, but I felt safe with her. That’s all that this memory entails.
