Astral Travel Awesomeness 0

Happy New Year / Decade guys.

I hope it’s been a blast for you. I’m in Estonia with my family an in a rush for dinner with them, but I thought I’d post this first.

In this video, William Buhlman discusses the latest (as of 2008) research on out-of-body experiences (OBEs).

I honestly think it’s powerful stuff in spite of the fact it was discovered in 2008.

And if you think you haven’t had enough, don’t miss out on the second video.

Astral Travel: Reality or Imagination? 1

Hey guys

I want to share with you this article I just sent to friends and family members who have expressed their skepticism about this interest of mine.

Take a look and do share it with your loved ones to help them understand what astral projection is to you and what it can do.

Astral Projection — Facts And Fantasies

http://www.wyrdology.com/other/astral-projection_assets/nebula.jpgMost people will have heard at some point in time in their lives the term astral projection. It is possible they may have heard it there are a number of books, movies and people who have studied or follow a new age path. However, there are only a small number of people that understand that astral projection is both real and something that anyone and everyone can do. In fact, many people have actually experienced at least one astral projection in their lives and while some may be aware of this experience, many people are not.

First, it is a good idea to understand what astral projection is. In simple terms, astral projection is the ability to leave one?s body. Everyone has this ability, and everyone does this at night during sleep. When you are sleeping and your physical mind is at rest, your subconscious mind comes to the forefront. When this happens, a person is able to astral project. Many people just don?t remember doing it.

You can journey to any desired location when you astral project. You may even have done this as a child as you went to bed, as you grew into adulthood you just forgot how. No time or distance restrictions apply when astral projecting, which makes it possible to travel virtually anywhere. The astral body is what does the traveling when the person’s physical body is sound asleep.

Lucid Dreaming — Scientific Insight And Training Methods 0

Hey guys

I know it’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me. But things have been crazy over here with traveling and such. That being said, I’m probably back to hitting a more regular schedule again.

Meanwhile, one of my favorite authors, Tim Ferris, blogged a really cool post about lucid dreaming.

The Beginner’s Guide To Lucid Dreaming

by Tim Ferris

http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/lucid-dream-flying.jpgFrom 1994–1995 I had the great pleasure of training with wrestling legend John Smith, 2-time gold medalist and 4-time world champion (domestic freestyle record of 80–0; international freestyle record of 100–5).

He was famous for his low leg attacks that made even Olympic finals look like textbook demonstrations.

The problem was, of course, that I was in New Hampshire at boarding school and had never met John Smith. I only trained with him 45–60 minutes per night while I was lucid dreaming. I went on to have my best career season, which culminated with a more than 20–0 record before the national championships…

I’ve since used lucid dreaming to:

  • Accelerate skill acquisition (example: yabusame)
  • Reactivate “forgotten” languages in less time
  • Cultivate zen-like present-state awareness and decrease needless stress

What Astral Travel Can Do For Your Health 0

Hey guys,

This astral traveler, Mario Fernandez, found an interesting relationship between low blood pressure and astral experiences.

He calls it the polar molecule movement theory.

I found it really interesting. Make sure you don’t miss out on it.

Astral Projection And Your Blood Pressure: The Polar Molecule Movement Theory

images

The following came to me in a sudden intuition, while attempting an astral projection in the afternoon.

I have read about Anne’s conviction that projections are deeply related to magnetism. Admitting the magnetic field of the body pulls the etheric or astral body back, one should try to understand the source of that pull, in order to minimize it.

Now, not all molecules behave the same, in terms of their magnetic properties. Some molecules are like little magnets, while others do not show magnet-like properties. The magnet-like molecules are the so-called “polar” molecules, while the others are called “non-polar” molecules. It is easy to check the difference between both kinds of molecules with a simple experiment.

Remembering ALL Your Astral Projection Experiences 0

Hey guys,

We’re overcome with information left right and center daily and it’s not always easy to recall our astral projection experiences.

I just came across this article that suggests some useful tips to recall all your lost astral projection experiences. Have a look and share your thoughts :)

8 Tips To Help You Recall Your Astral Projection Experiences

images

Projection recall is sharpened, it will seem like it never happened even if it did. This is the most prevalent cause of apparent OBE failure.

OBE experiences can be breathtakingly vivid, but memories of them, like dream memories, have the annoying habit of disappearing unless precautions are taken. An essential ingredient of successful Astral projection, therefore, is improving your ability to remember it afterward.

We will discuss some tips that help you sharpen your nocturnal adventures :

Explained: Out Of Body Experiences 0

Hey guys,

This morning during my daily breakfast of Astral Projection news I bumped into an interesting article that I am really keen to share with you! Scientists attest there is a rational explanation for out of bodies experiences, while spiritual leaders talk about energy and inner emotions. But at the end of the day, does the mechanism behind the phenomenon really matter?

Read on and do drop me a line here. I am looking forward to hearing what you think.

Out of Body Experience: Life After Death or Scientifically Explained Reality

byCarol Forsloff

There have been numbers of reported near death experiences that involved people seeing themselves out of their bodies while they were prone someplace. The usual recollection is during some medical procedure, usually following an accident, when the victim feels pain, then is instantly relieved of it while at the same time the person feels like they have literally left the body and often float to the ceiling. Is this experience real and if it is, what explains it?

outofbody2308_468x304

This phenomenon of out of the body experience is attested to by metaphysical groups who believe that certain exercises can create an out of body experience. Some hypnosis instructors also give exercises where they say they can “create” energy fields and that someone within this energy field can have a feeling of levitation or an out of body sensation. One person who lists herself as Sarah on the Out of Body Research Foundation website says, “I could fly over London, or be in a Maxfield Parish Painting. It was as real as I am sitting here right now.”

In addition to the metaphysical groups that tie religious belief with the creation of out-of-the-body experiences, there are those who presume they can teach others how to do it.

Tips For An Easy Astral Projection 0

Hey guys,

A few days ago I shared with you some useful techniques to face Astral Travel difficulties. These tips are useful and should be kept in mind whenpracticing astral projection. Have a look and all the notes you need!

Easy Astral Projection Tips For You

images

For those that are new to astral projecting, a number of stumbling blocks that you need to overcome before you can successfully astral project. First you need to understand that you already have the ability, everyone does. So this isn’t about trying to learn something new, or doing something that isn’t natural. Look at it as something that you have to fine tune, like roller skating, cartwheels, riding a bike. You never forget how to do these activities, when you haven’t done them in a long time you just have to practice. The same holds true for astral projecting.

A lot of people find just relaxing to be a stumbling block on the way to learning astral projection. In order to astral project, youll need to relax both mind and body. There are a number of different techniques which can help you to relax, including breathing techniques and methods of muscle relaxation.

You’ll have a much easier time astral projecting if you are doing this in a relaxed environment. To get relaxed and have the chance of success as you prepare to astral project.

  • Start by removing any tight, restrictive clothing and any jewelry. Some people even find taking off their clothes to be helpful when astral projecting, but whatever works for you is the right way to go.
  • You want to have a dimly lit room in order to practice astral projection. Not pitch black, but dark enough that when you close your eyes no light gets through.
  • With your head pointed north, lie down along a north-south axis. This should be easy to see with the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. So if our of your bedroom window you can see the sunset that means you need to be laying along the window, not with your head or feet pointing towards the window.

Learning Astral Travel Techniques 0

Hey guys,

At times, it’s easy to forget that improving our Astral travel skills is nothing but a matter of time and practice. Have a look at this article — I’m looking forward to know what you guys think!

Techniques To Face Astral Travel Difficulties

iStock_000006665449LargeI’ve been out of the astral loop for a couple years, but I had a large amount of success over the course of about four years before this. Since then my focus has shifted and I haven’t come back around to OBE efforts. However, my successes are notable, as I had the most trouble of anyone I’ve ever known in getting out of body.

First, here’s some things to understand/expect:

1) Fear/Panic — It’s entirely possible that the first time you actually succeed, you will panic. It’s completely natural and many people do. It’s a very bizarre feeling (especially if you use a fully conscious projection) and can cause you that split second of panic that causes you to lose it. Solution: Reaffirm your desire to yourself and keep trying. After a time or three, this panic reflex goes away…

2) Other Fears - A lot of people have a lot of different beliefs, and these beliefs form the way that they experience their astral travel. The basic fact of the matter is that everything in the universe is one thing, one energy, and all division is merely illusion. When you project, you are not “leaving your body” really because in fact physical reality (space as well as time) do not exist — they only appear to. So not understanding the fact that you are merely altering your consciousness, many of not most people perceive of astral travel as “going somewhere”. For this purpose, most people feel the need to create some form of “protection”. They may have guides, angels, their higher self, astral friends, whatever you want, who help them. Many also perceive a silver cord, because it causes them to intrinsically realize that they are safe and still connected to themselves, when in fact it is impossible to be otherwise. (There is no real cord, as there is no real separation, just a shift in consciousness… actually, this is kinda hard to write in words) — take any view on it that makes you comfortable, but the bottom line is you are safe when projecting, there is no need to fear that anything can “get you”, “take over your body”, or that you can “get lost and not find your way back”. Anyone who has vehemently argued to that effect has basically believed it into existence for themselves astrally. It was them that caused it, not something malevolent.

The Mind During An Out of Body Experience

http://blog.learnremoteviewing.com/files/2009/05/istock_000005809739xsmall-300x299.jpgSome researchers have theorized that the problems encountered in visual experiments are not problems with vision, but rather problems with the mind and its interpretation of those images. Obviously, we can learn a lot about our reality and ourselves if we examine our own mind and consciousness during OBEs.

Consciousness

How is out-of-body consciousness different from normal consciousness? My experiments have led me to believe that out-of-body consciousness is very focused and directed. This single-mindedness makes it easier to induce the experience, and usually stays with me during the experience. This focus also makes it easier to remember details of an experience. It can also be a hinderance, because it’s tempting to divert your full attention to some small distraction during the experience, rather than doing something that you had planned. For instance, several times I induced an OBE with the hope to astrally visit a friend, but often I would become distracted and forget my goal.

I have experienced many frames of mind and states of consciousness during OBEs. Usually, my consciousness is completely normal in all respects. At times my consciousness is very strong, and I feel more awake and aware than in normal life. But sometimes my consciousness feels very weak. I’ve often used the analogy between consciousness and a light bulb that is on a dimmer switch. Chapter 10, OBE #52 gave a fairly good idea of how consciousness operates during an OBE. Here are some more examples:
